I’m Kristen. So glad you’re here!

I’m so excited to dive into all sorts of made-from-scratch recipes, featuring fresh milled whole grain! We will talk about why whole grains should be a part of our diet, what is so special about fresh milled flour, what you need to get started, and much, much more! 

An intentional lifestyle takes effort, but with the right information, taking care of our bodies doesn’t need to be rocket science. 

In 1825 a French gastronome (yeah, I had to look that one up too) by the name of Jean Anthelme Brillat-Savarin said this, “Dis-moi ce que tu manges, je te dirai ce que tu es,” which basically translates to, “Tell me what you eat and I will tell you what you are​”. I think this French lover of food knew a thing or two.

Unfortunately, our modern culture has done a pretty good job at convincing itself that consequences are optional. When reality strikes, a whole buffet of solutions is offered, but few of them actually address the foundation of the issue. My goal on this platform is to portray the beauty and the freedom in a balanced, wholesome diet!
